WHO WE ARE:
Bethesda Tabernacle of the Christian Community Church of Palm Beach, now called, Bethesda Tabernacle of the Christian and Missionary Alliance, inc. was started officiously in October 27, 2002, at Holiday Inn hotel in Boynton Beach, by a group of devoted brothers and sisters in Christ with an effective of 195 people. Without a senior pastor, this group of devoted brothers and sisters began to have worship service every Sunday morning consecutively until a few weeks later pastor Sainvilus Point Du Jour officially accepted to be the senior pastor of this church. From the time we started, we were able to continuously have our worship service in the hotel until, approximately 7 months later we moved to 2923 South Federal Hwy in Boynton Beach settled on a 3000 sq/ft of space that was leased in a yearly basis. Three months later, especially in June 2003, the church has officially opened to the public of Palm Beach County and beyond. One year later, in August 2004, God has blessed Bethesda Tabernacle church by allowing the congregation to purchase the existing leasing property for 1.3 million of dollars.
“When God approves, He provides”. As the good Hand of God was and always upon His church, Bethesda Tabernacle was never ceased to receive people who wanted to join the congregation. With that being said, the congregation numerically grew progressively day after day and after day. Be advised, in the first nine years of Bethesda Tabernacle church existence, the organization was operated independently without a mission organization. However, in August 2012, in relation with theboard members and the whole congregation, Bethesda Tabernacle of the Christian Community church of Palm Beach became an affiliated member of the C&MA which changed the name to Bethesda Tabernacle of the Christian and Missionary Alliance, Inc.
Starting 2002 to 2012, Bethesda Tabernacle grew from 195 members to about 800 members. As the church effective kept increasing considerably, the parking spaces were not sufficient to accommodate the number of vehicles. Therefore, to comply with the city of Boynton Beach, the obligation was made for the congregation to relocate to another facility to comply with the insufficientparking issue.
In March 2012, Bethesda Tabernacle, under the influence of the city of Boynton Beach vacated the building at 2923 South Federal Hwy, to temporary have its morning worship service at 400 South Swinton (DAF). Meanwhile, continued to meet during the evening for its Sunday night service. Couple months later, the congregation moved to Atlantic High school in Delray Beach for a better comfort.
While still worshipping at Atlantic High school, God did not cease to pour His blessings upon His church, as He allowed Bethesda Tabernacle church to buy a 3.5 acres of land, on which a Shelter will be built for His flocks. In 2016, in the efforts to create some type of connection with this new areawhich soon will be our home church, Bethesda Tabernacle decided not to have its Easter service at Atlantic High school but at L C Swain Middle school in Greenacres. We worshiped there for the rest of the month, but went back to Atlantic High School for better comfort. Meanwhile, Sunday morning worship held in Atlantic High School and Sunday night service in Lake Worth Road. In June 2016, we decided to have our 13th anniversary on that vacate land., under a tent After the church anniversary, the congregation agreed not to go back to Atlantic High school to have its worship service, instead used the small building by having two different worship services on sunday morning and used New Alliance Worship Center for the youth and the kids.
In March 2017, to answer to some challenges, we ceased to have two worship services in the small building as well as using new Alliance church building to go to John Leonard high school where we have one worship service in the morning only.
Bethesda Tabernacle Christian and Missionary Alliance, Inc. commits to fulfill the Great commission.
